7p. Shabbat Service: Parshat Vayikra (He [G-d] called [to Moses]),Lev.1:1 – 5:26. We have now entered the book of Leviticus, or Vayikra in the Hebrew, whose laws aim to turn the Israelites into a holy people and safeguard the purity essential for contact with the Holy One. This first parsha in the book of Leviticus deals with the different kinds of sacrifices to be made, the reasons for offering a particular sacrifice and the rules that govern it.

Friends – we are in the process of planning for the Model Seder, but are finding little interest since it used to be under the auspices of the Religious School. LOOKING AHEAD…. SAVE THE DATE: Hunter Bell will be called to the Torah as Bar Mitzvah on Saturday, May 6. Hunter has been such an intricate part of our congregation the past few years, and we are so proud of his achievement!
